Position: Marketing Intern (Unpaid Internship)

Dates: Fall internship, September – December 2017

Hours: Minimum 16 hours per week

Description: Tailored Marketing is looking for a dynamic intern who will be responsible for assisting and supporting the marketing team with a variety of social media and marketing initiatives. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the advertising industry.

Marketing Intern Responsibilities:

  • Collecting quantitative and qualitative data for marketing campaigns
  • Performing market analysis and research
  • Supporting the marketing team in daily tasks
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (i.e. social media, email marketing)
  • Help organize marketing events
  • Writing for internal blogs and client ads
  • Monitor social channels for industry trends and news

Qualifications:

  • College student or recent graduate with emphasis in marketing, advertising, branding or public relations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good research and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Word programs and ability to learn other programs
  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
