Job Summary Provides top-level strategic direction to research team in order to design research that solves the clients’ business challenge. Participates in the business development process. Works directly with clients to determine scope (plan, approach, methods) and desired outcomes of projects acquires resources to execute projects estimates costs and presents the Campos Inc recommended approach manages projects profitably from start to finish. Desired Job Outcome Clients recommend Campos Inc and we become a partner to their business. Research services operates profitably and meets revenue and gross margin goals. Job Duties • Interfaces with clients on scope definition, scope changes, and potential follow-on work and prepares proposals. • Directs the overall and day-to-day activities of project team members. • Mentors new team members, coaches existing team members in job performance and professional development. Trains new team members. • Encourages creativity, independence, and excellence among employees. • Stays current on trends and developments in business, marketing and market research and can understand the implications and apply to the research business. • Performs qualitative and quantitative research functions such as designing interview guides, discussion guides and questionnaires, conducting in-depth interviews and groups, identifying sampling sources, performing statistical analyses, analyzing information or data, and preparing reports with summary tables/graphs • Establishes, monitors, and controls project budgets and schedules and takes corrective action as required. • Balances work load to set priorities and allocates resources. • Takes initiative to address issues and recommends solutions. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with tight deadlines works smartly and quickly. • Ability to synthesize results (key findings, actionable recommendations). • Reviews and approves all deliverables before submitting to clients. • Presents the research findings to clients including actionable recommendations to address client business issues. • Provides ongoing account service to current clients and has the ability to identify and deliver new client business. • Prepares project status reports as required. • Serves in both consultative and management roles.

Requirements:
Education: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sociology. • Advanced degree in business desired. Skills: • Strong organizational skills strong marketing and research skills, must demonstrate clear and concise writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, clear and concise speaking and communications ability, excellent analytical skills, understanding of financial principles and marketing theory. • Presentation skills are a must. • Ability to manage projects according to budget, schedule, and technical requirements. • Possesses overall knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and knowledge of SPSS is a plus. Experience: • Five+ years in marketing, market research on either client or supplier/services side, two to three years of research application in business environment, must have a working knowledge of research techniques, methods, project management, proven success with client management strong skills needed to lead and manage team. Additional Experience: • Experience in business development is helpful. • Experience moderating focus groups or facilitating business meetings a plus. Attributes Preferred: • Creativity, critical thinking ability, oral and written communications, problem solving, aesthetic judgment, ability to plan/organize/direct/control, ability to multitask and establish priorities, ability to manage, motivate and influence people.
