The Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University is seeking a tenure track Assistant Professor in Advertising, who can teach multi-level courses in advertising and integrated marketing communications, develop curriculum and conduct scholarly research. The position will begin August 2010. Depending on the candidate’s expertise, possible courses to teach could include advertising principles, introduction to IMC, copywriting, research, direct marketing, media analysis, or campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. Degree, a background in college level teaching, and at least three years of professional experience. Candidates with a relevant Masters Degree and significant experience will also be considered.
